Bing is Microsoft's current search engine for common use. It was introduced in May, 2009, and replaced MS Live Search.

Notable interface features include lists of 'related searches' and recent user searches. The former uses semantic technology from Powerset, purchased by Microsoft in 2008.

In July, 2009, Microsoft and Yahoo! announced a deal in which bing would power Yahoo! Search.
