ASDA opening times vary between stores, so use the ASDA store locator to get opening times.

ASDA Store Locator

The ASDA store locator is one of the best tools for helping you find ASDA stores. The ASDA store locator is powered by Multimap, which at the time of writing is about to be taken off line to be re-named Bing Maps. Multimap (Bing maps!) is one of the premier companies providing maps for the UK, along with Google maps and MapQuest

The ASDA store locator is very easy to use. Simply type in the post code of the area in which you want to find a store and the address of the nearest store should appear, together with a map showing that store and other stores within about a 20 miles radius.

Clicking on a store label within the map pops up the address of the store and the distance to it. Then cliickl on the more details hyperlink to get the map to zoom in and reveal the street layout around the store.

If you don't know the area well you might find it useful to click on the Aerial and Birds Eye buttons to see the lie of the land. It's a bit like looking at the streets & store as if you were approaching by helicopter. As you will probably be approaching by car, this is of limited use. But it's quite fun, and you may spot some interesting landmarks to watch out for. Avid ramblers might like to peruse the unique Multimap Ordnance Survey map view. Again, I'm not sure how useful it actually is but just altering the view may (literally!) throw some landmarks into relief, thereby making it more likely you will notice them. I had trouble getting some of these features working in Mozilla Firefox, but had no problems with Internet Explorer - perhaps not surprising as Multimap (Bing maps) is owned by Microsoft.

While playing about with these fascinating maps don't forget to scroll down in the browser window to see more details of the store. These should include opening times and information of specialised features of the store, like if it has baby changing facilities, a pharmacy, or a photo department. In fact if you have an unusual need it might be worth checking to see if any of the big ASDA stores near you can satisfy it, some allow you to trade in games or change money, for example.

Most other supermarket chains offer similar store locators, many of these (like Tesco) also use Bing maps.
