Tesco Travel Insurance has now suspended operation due to poor sales figures.

Your Travel insurance premium did not go up you made a claim. Also, there wasn't a no-claims discount with Tesco Travel Insurance.

It's a shame that Tesco travel insurance failed, as it had some nice offers. It's probably an example of Tesco extending itself too far into new territory. No one thinks of Tesco when they think of travel, so it was always going to have a fight for customers against some established and very strong travel companies. It lost that fight.
