Waitrose plan to increase store numbers

Between 2010 and 2015 Waitrose plan to open 40 stores a year, building on a base of about 250 stores. Partner sites within Boots health and beauty shops, Shell filling stations and Welcome Break motorway service stations could bring 1,000 more outlets, putting Waitrose food in close to 1,500 locations.
