There are many map sites that include driving directions and street maps. Mapquest.com is a good place to start. But you should check out other sites, to see if they satisy your particular needs.

To find maps for your country on mapquest.com, go to the homepage and click on DIRECTIONS. The directions page has two main options: maps mapquest.com North America and maps mapquest.com Europe. The former includes maps for Canada and the USA. The latter includes UK, German and French maps. Mapquest.com does not include countries outside North America and Europe.

Your country might have its own specialized sites for street maps. Mapquest.com has a definite bias towards US maps. But MapQuest runs a few map sites with URL's based in other countries, e.g. mapquest.co.uk for UK and mapquest.ca for Canada.
