Using MSN Quotes

MSN quotes can be kept in plain text format to copy and paste into your messages. To do this, copy your MSN quotes into Microsoft Notepad and save as plain text.

In MSN Messenger you can add MSN quotes next to your name:

• In MSN Messenger, click the Tools menu, then Options. 
• MSN quotes ca be typed into the personal message field.

To create formatted MSN quotes, use Microsoft formatting symbols—similar to HTML:

[b]bold text[/b]	bold text
[i]italicised text[/i]	italicised text
[u]underlined text[/u]	underlined text

Underlining is not recommended, to avoid MSN Quotes being mistaken as hyperlinks. But let rip with bold and italic, for instance:

"To be or not to be" - Hamlet

You can quote a paragraph of text using the MSN quote tag:

[quote][b][i]To be or not to be[/b] - Hamlet[/i][/quote]

Another tag is [center], which can centralise your MSN quote:

"To be or not to be" - Hamlet
