TUCKER, NATHANIEL BEVERLY (1784-1851).Born in Virginia, became a Prof., of Law in William and Mary Coll. He wrote a novel, The Partisan Leader (1836), a prophecy of the future disunion which led to the Civil War. It was re-pub. in 1861 as A Key to the Southern Conspiracy . Another novel was George Balcombe .
