Video clip search engine
A video clip search engine is used to find video clips that you can download from web pages.
What is a video clip search engine?
A video clip search engine is devoted to returning index pages for small footprint videos found on web sites. The more general image search engines return multimedia incorporating pictures in many formats, often including video clips. So make sure to include image search engines in your search for video clips.
- After using a video clip search engine you need software to organise the videos you find.
In 2006 Google introduced Picasa, an application that allows you to find, edit and share images on your PC. It automatically finds your pictures and sorts them into albums organized by date with recognizable folder names. It organises video clips along with still images.
The indexes of video clip search engine are created from words associated with the pictures. The spiders are not yet intelligent enough to watch videos :-)
- A video clip search engine uses existing search engine technology, with additional strategies.
A video clip search engine uses important words close to download links to find the videos. These may include the filename, alt tags, meta tags and the page title.
