It is certainly worth investigating Multimap France if you are planning to drive through France, especially if you are an English speaker! Multimap is a UK based company that provides great maps for many countries.

In fact it is the only European based company that provides serious competition for US companies like Google Maps and MapQuest on the world stage.

To find a particular location, street, or just a decent map, in France, Multimap is difficult to beat.

Multimap France provides detailed maps of France and you can naviagate from Multimap France to find great maps for most other European countries. The maps for the UK, and for London in particular, are very good.

Other useful map sites providing European maps are: Mapquest, Yahoo, Google maps, Via Michelin, and Mappy. Microsoft own Multimap but, at least in Europe, have maintained the Multimap name.
