Multimap maps

The Multimap maps interface is made available from the "Find a map" button on the Multimap home page.

Multimap Maps & Microsoft

On navigating to the Multimap maps interface the first thing you are likely to notice is the "Microsoft Virtual Earth" label at the bottom left of the map. Multimap Multimap are a UK & European focused mapping company that were bought by Microsoft because MultiMap maps have a unique API with many innovative features. 

Microsoft Virtual Earth allows website users to zoom in and out and pan around 3D maps that look virtually like the real Earth. Virtual Earth has provides satellite coverage for many places, including the UK. It also provides ‘birds eye views’ for many cities worldwide.
After acquiring Multimap the obvious think was to merge it with Microsoft Virtual Earth.

Multimap Property Maps

The MSN Local Property pages deliver a property searcher using the Multimap API. This allows users to search for property geographically and display the results on a map.
