Fri: Ugly Betty TV Show 3/5/7 Highlight: Ugly Betty American comedy series based in a fashion magazine. Ugly Betty Suarez (America Ferrera) is the normal, hard working girl from Queens devoted to helping naive Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius) run a fashion magazine.
UK TV Guide Listings: Thursday night 3/5/7 Did you see? House - our eccentric hero woke a man from a persistent vegetative state, but his son slipped into a coma. House went on a strange road trip with the father, and Dr Wilson. The cop that House upset interviewed his team to try and pin drug charges on him. House remains the best drama series on UK TV at the moment.
UK TV Guide Listings: Wednesday night 2/5/7 The Apprentice TV Show, Sixteen candidates fight it out over twelve weeks to become apprentice to Sir Alan Sugar, the self-made multi-millionaire. The candidates compete for a six-figure salary and the chance to learn from the successful businessman. As Sir Alan said, "this is the job interview from hell...." The losing team tried to sell blocks of cheap cheese to the French. Sir Alan roasted the guy who had that bright idea.
UK TV Guide Listings: Tuesday night 1/5/7 Did you see? The Six Billion Dollar Experiment CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiment in Geneva will explode into action in November 2007. It aims to create the conditions in the Universe one billionth of a second after the big bang by colliding fast-moving protons together and looking at the pieces. Superb episode of this great science documentary series. Included interviews from many key players in the world of particle physics.
