7.00-7.30pm BBC1 Castaway Reality TV series following volunteers stranded off the coast of New Zealand, who aim to survive for 12 weeks without electricity or running water. Several weeks in, tensions are rising.
8.00pm-9.00pm BBC1 Holby Blue Tim Pigott-Smith. Zoe Lucker, and Kacey Ainsworth star in this police-based spin-off from Holby City and Casualty. DS Luke French and clumsy probationer Lucy Slater are the lead characters. watch out for old favourites like Derek Thompson (Casualty's Charlie) making guest appearances.
8:00pm - 9:00pm BBC2 The Apprentice Repeat from last Wednesday. Sixteen candidates fight it out over twelve weeks to become apprentice to Sir Alan Sugar, the self-made multi-millionaire. The candidates compete for a six-figure salary and the chance to learn from the successful businessman. As Sir Alan said, "this is the job interview from hell...." The candidates are living in a luxury townhouse in central London, and are split into two teams to perform a weekly entrepreneurial task. Each week, the winning team gets a luxury treat. The losing team's project manager chooses two team members to face Sir Alan in the boardroom. They each defend themselves whilst Sir Alan and his advisors, Margaret Mountford and Nick Hewer decide who will hear Sir Alan say: "You're fired".
9.00-9.50pm BBC2 Horizon The flagship BBC science programme. This week: Experts examine real-life police cases to see if it is still possible to commit the perfect murder. They reveal how clues reveal innocent looking deaths to be suspicious .

9.50-10.30pm BBC2 This World: I Believe in Miracles The Roman Catholic Church has reduced the number of unexplained phenomena needed to indicate sainthood. A woman takes her father to Lourdes, and a US citizen asks Rome to ratify a miracle. Will it take a miracle to stop people believing in this nonsense?
10.35-11.25pm BBC1 Imagine Art documentary series presented by Alan Yentob. This week: Gilbert and George, their recent retrospective at the Tate Modern, and their East End home.
